  • Merchant Information: When merchants onboard via blaysloyalty.com/merchant, we collect business name, contact details (e.g., email, phone), payment details (e.g., USDC wallet address), and business size data.
  • Donor Information: During our Donation Token Launch (DTL), we collect donor names, email addresses, donation amounts, and wallet addresses (e.g., for USDC/ETH contributions).

b. Transaction Data

  • Earning and Redemption: When you earn BREW (e.g., 100 BREW per $1 spent) or redeem it across merchants, we collect transaction details such as purchase amount, merchant name, date, and BREW issuance/redemption records. This is logged on Solana (e.g., via Solscan) and linked to your account.
  • Cash-Out Requests: If you cash out BREW (e.g., $0.0006/BREW), we collect your wallet address and cash-out amount.

c. Usage Data

  • Website and App Activity: We collect data on how you interact with our website and App, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Analytics: Merchants opting for premium analytics ($500/year) provide additional data, such as transaction volume, peak hours, and cross-spend patterns, which we process off-chain (e.g., via AWS).

d. Blockchain Data

  • Public Wallet Addresses: Transactions involving BLAY (governance token) or BREW (loyalty point) are recorded on the Solana blockchain. Your wallet address is publicly visible but not directly linked to your personal identity by us unless you provide it (e.g., during onboarding or cash-out).
  • Smart Contract Interactions: Actions like minting, voting, or pool seeding (e.g., 0xGHI…, 0xJKL…) generate on-chain data we may access for operational purposes.

e. Uploaded Data

  • Receipt Uploads: If you upload receipts to earn BREW, we use OCR technology (95% accuracy) to extract purchase details (e.g., amount, merchant, date). Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and manual review if disputed.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the Blays Loyalty ecosystem and deliver our services, including:

  • Account Management: To create and manage user and merchant accounts, process subscriptions, and issue BLAY/BREW tokens.
  • Transaction Processing: To facilitate BREW earning, redemption, and cash-outs, and to charge merchants fees (e.g., 1% BSYS, $0.01/occurrence).
  • Analytics: To provide merchants with insights (e.g., lite or premium analytics) and improve our services.
  • Communication: To send you updates, confirmations, promotional offers (e.g., $20 gift card perks), or support responses via email or the App.
  • Governance: To enable BLAY holders to vote on BSYS parameters (e.g., fee adjustments) and process voting data.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

  • With Merchants: Transaction data (e.g., BREW earned/redeemed) is shared with participating merchants to facilitate rewards and analytics.
  • Service Providers: We use third parties like Stripe (payments), AWS (hosting/analytics), Square/Clover (POS integration), and Solscan (blockchain tracking) to process data on our behalf. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Blockchain Network: Wallet addresses and transaction data (e.g., 0xABC…, 0xPQR…) are publicly recorded on Solana and accessible to anyone. We do not control this data once it’s on-chain.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., court order).
  • Business Transfers: If Blays is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred to the new entity, subject to this Privacy Policy.
